Authentic, unposed and in the action — this is the type of photography we love. Just like the weather, moments can be unpredictable and often create the most interesting and beautiful captures. We’re respectful snipers and encourage our subjects to have fun!
-
Our specialty is documentary-style shooting — unscripted and unposed. While we provide guidance for client requests, we are a “run-and-gun” duo who captures as much content as our batteries will allow! We can provide raw video content and/or compile it into a polished, story-driven video — ranging from 30-second social media spots to “feature-length” films.
-
In addition to providing raw photo and video files, we offer full editing on stills and video. We work with our clients to provide the full-picture story.
If you are interested in storyboarding, editing or written pieces, let’s get in touch!
WHO is Sight Lines?
We’re a husband and wife duo who actually enjoy working together!
Michael and Erin Spaulding met in northern Michigan where they grew up exploring, camping, hiking and enjoying the quiet rhythms of small town life. Their love for the outdoors brought them to the Pacific Northwest where they’ve captured still and moving images of the sites, people and happenings all around them.

She is an award-winning writer with work that has appeared in Patagonia, The Flyfish Journal, The Drake Magazine, Chicago Athlete & more.
